Five courses in the B.S. in Healthcare Management have been approved by the New York State Department of Health, Board of Examiners of Nursing Home Administrators, as meeting the educational requirement (Qualification 3) for individuals applying for nursing home administrator (NHA) licensure in the State of New York.

McGhee’s B.S. in Healthcare Management is deemed a “degree in the field” by the New York State Department of Health, Bureau of Professional Credentialing, which confers added benefits to the NHA candidate, including a reduction in the amount of experience necessary to satisfy Qualification 4.
