McGhee offers the atmosphere of a small liberal arts college within a major research university. McGhee students experience the best of these worlds and benefit from an academic program that is unique to the traditional undergraduate experience.

Our faculty of full-time and adjunct professors enjoy teaching adults. As dedicated instructors who teach only at McGhee, they respect the academic path that you are on and make themselves accessible to students.

While all NYU students share resources such as libraries, athletic and exercise facilities, and cultural centers, McGhee students benefit from their own student services as well. In a community-centered environment, activities and student clubs are very different from those created for recent high school graduates. In addition, McGhee is centrally located, and busy adults appreciate the convenience of classes that meet in concentrated periods once a week rather than several times a week. Our students come to view McGhee as its own special campus at NYU.

The SCPS Office of Student Affairs offers a wide variety of programs and services designed to help our diverse student population make the most of their NYU experience and grow within a community of scholars and fellow professionals. The Office of Student Affairs can provide you with information about academic resources, ways to get involved in student life on campus, and how to obtain assistance and support.
