B.S. in Social Sciences, with a concentration in Psychology
Stacy Lauren Musi is a rising star in the world of executive search and recruiting.
After a career in the financial services industry, she joined New York City-based retained executive search firm Chadick Ellig in 1994. There, the Brooklyn-native achieved a record of success placing senior managers in the financial, business and consumer services industries. It wasn’t long before her bosses took notice of her potential and began grooming her for a leadership position at the firm.
But, one thing was missing from her resume: a college degree.
So Musi, with her company’s support—both moral and financial—returned to school at NYU-SCPS’s Paul McGhee Division. She attended classes part time, in the evenings and weekends – even attending school during the summers – for four years, all the while maintaining a busy work schedule with frequent business travel.
Musi graduated summa cum laude in January 2002 with a B.S. in Social Sciences, with a concentration in Psychology. Graduating with a 4.0 GPA, she received the NYU Wallace Gobetz Memorial Award for scholastic achievement and was elected to the Alpha Sigma Lambda National Honor Society.
Soon after, Musi was promoted to Managing Director at Chadick Ellig and is now one of three partners leading the firm.
