The Heyman Center’s Academy for Grantmaking and Funder Education offers courses in all aspects of philanthropic giving. The professional certificate in Grantmaking and Foundations provides a structured program built on the core competencies necessary for philanthropic giving by individuals and grantmaking organizations. One-week intensives, offered twice each year, are specially designed to meet the needs of new grantmakers and family foundation donors.
APPROVED AS A CFRE CONTINUING EDUCATION PROVIDER

NYU’s Heyman Center for Philanthropy and Fundraising is approved by CFRE International as a continuing education provider. CFRE International offers the only internationally recognized professional credential for philanthropic fundraising executives. Become certified to increase your credibility and improve your career opportunities. Many courses taken through the Heyman Center earn students CFRE continuing education points, which are required for CFRE certification.
