M.S. in Fundraising

FACULTY

The high level of learning you experience in our classrooms is the product of a world-class faculty. In addition to senior development professionals, our faculty includes accountants, lawyers, museum directors, and corporate executives. Because of the interdisciplinary nature of the field of fundraising, some of these renowned scholars/practitioners are drawn from other NYU schools.

Together with the Heyman Center’s advisory board of distinguished fundraisers, foundation leaders, and private philanthropists, your professors lead you in exploring the dynamics and strategies of fundraising and philanthropy through intelligent dialogue and debate. They also bring to the classroom, as a matter of course, guest lecturers, case studies, research, and professional expertise in order to show you by example how to excel—and inspire you to find a way to give back to the profession, just as they do. As you come to know your professors through classes, workshops, and industry events, you experience, firsthand, their dedication to academic discovery, their eagerness to share their own research, and their commitment to mentor you while you conduct your own intellectual inquiries.
