There are so many ways in which NYU-SCPS moved me ahead  in my career, starting with the people I was surrounded by. My interactions with the other students and faculty are what spurred me to get my M.B.A. I also liked the fact that I never felt overwhelmed by a subject, such as investor relations, and that so many of my supporting courses, and my core subjects, proved useful in my current job.

Being able to create an ongoing relationship with down-to-earth instructors, who stayed in touch even after I finished the program, also gave me some wonderful networking opportunities. Compared to other schools, I think that NYU offers a close-up of the real world so that students transition into jobs with more experience and confidence. This whole experience has opened doors for me that may not have been opened otherwise, and I am always very eager to recommend the program to anyone in a specialized field—particularly friends and colleagues.
