ALUMNI

Alumni are essential to the ongoing strength of NYU's School of Continuing and Professional Studies. The SCPS Office of Alumni Relations works with the NYU Alumni Association, school alumni board members, students, faculty, and administration to enhance community awareness of our educational programs, provide opportunities to further professional and intellectual interests, and support SCPS through professional contacts and fundraising.

Many of our alumni have gone on to do wonderful things in the profession, and, after graduation, we make it our role to nurture this extensive worldwide network of alumni for the benefit of the School and its current students. Our graduates have gone on to assume leadership positions in global public relations firms and major corporations across the country, such as Ford Motor Company, Mercedes-Benz, Nickelodeon, MTV Networks, Viacom, AOL Time Warner, Merrill Lynch, Credit Suisse, Citibank, Lehman Brothers, First Boston, United Way, and Viking Penguin. Some alumni have started ventures, and others have obtained high-ranking positions in federal, state, and government agencies, such as the Office of the Mayor of the City of New York, the New York City Council, the New York State Judiciary, the New York State Power Authority, the United Nations, the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, the New York City Landmarks Preservation Commission, and many more. Still other alumni have pursued additional graduate work in communication at other universities.
