Architecture, Engineering, and Construction

CONTINUING EDUCATION COURSES

Offered through the NYU Schack Institute of Real Estate, our courses in architecture, engineering, and construction are designed to help building industry professionals update their knowledge and improve their skills. They help you stay abreast of emerging trends and best practices, fulfill New York State continuing education requirements, or prepare for architect or professional engineering license examinations. We also offer an array of professional certificates that provide you with the training you need to break into or advance in the field.

ARCHITECT AND ENGINEER CONTINUING EDUCATION
Architects and engineers licensed in New York State must complete 36 hours of continuing education during each three-year renewal period. NYU is an approved provider of continuing education for New York State and the American Institute of Architects (AIA). For architects and AIA members, the initials AIA after a course description indicate the number of credit hours. For licensed professional engineers, the initials PDH indicate the number of credit hours earned upon satisfactory completion of the course. When HSW appears next to AIA in a course description, the course qualifies for Health, Safety, and Welfare hours.

We offer architecture, construction, and engineering continuing education courses in the following areas:
