new career area or specialization within the industry. This certificate is ideal for students
interested in pursuing further graduate study without yet committing to a master’s program.
If a student opts to pursue an
M.S. in
Construction Management at another point, coursework completed in the graduate certificate
program may be applicable toward completion of the master’s degree. The responsibility for meeting
degree
requirements rests with the candidate, who is expected to abide by the
policies regarding time
limits .
The graduate certificate is designed to provide a foundation for professional practice and
further study in the field. It consists of a subset of courses in the master’s degree program that
corresponds entirely to the first six courses of the core curriculum.
