NYU Schack Institute of Real Estate

ADMISSIONS

Because we value students who will both excel and contribute in the classroom, we seek individuals who are confident in their ability to master the required material, who have strong written and oral communication skills, and who have the courage to ask challenging questions. Applicants should have more than two years of work experience in this field, but can come from a variety of professional backgrounds, such as financial services, economics, law, and architecture. The School encourages people with a strong career interest in the construction industry to apply for the M.S. in Construction Management or the M.S. in Real Estate. The Admissions Committee evaluates your work experience, not only in terms of years, but also with regard to the depth and breadth of your experience, responsibilities, and progression.
