Student, M.S. in Real Estate
"NYU professors are highly accessible and have a tremendous ability to relate concepts and materials they present in class to ‘real world’ and current situations."
Taking classes at NYU-SCPS has assured me that a career in real estate is the right path. I had worked in the industry for two years following college and I thought it would be in my best interest to sharpen my skills at the NYU Schack Institute of Real Estate. The program’s stellar reputation among industry professionals and its prime location within one of the most active real estate markets in the world also assured me that I would receive the necessary tools for success.
The class schedule offers a great way for students to combine their previous or current work experience with the focused teaching one can only get in a formalized academic setting. Additionally, NYU professors are highly accessible and have a tremendous ability to relate concepts and materials they present in-class to ‘real world’ and current situations. The network opportunities have been bountiful through various events organized by the Schack Institute, and my fellow students are as diverse as NYU and the city itself. Some of us had worked in the industry while others have just graduated from college. What we all share, however, is our love for real estate.
