CERTIFICATE IN CONSTRUCTION COST ESTIMATING
This program offers hands-on training for those interested in becoming an estimator in construction or real estate development.
Upon completion of the program, students are equipped with the following skills:
Knowledge of how to read and understand construction documents, drawings, and specifications. Familiarity with the estimating procedures and practices used to develop the estimate and final bid price of a construction project. Budgeting and design review. Preliminary and detailed estimating. Bonds and insurance.
This certificate is awarded to students who successfully complete four courses--three required and one elective.
