CERTIFICATE IN PLUMBING SYSTEMS DESIGN

If you need to add plumbing expertise to your engineering credentials, this certificate provides a thorough introduction to every aspect of plumbing design.

Upon completion of the program, students have mastered the following:

  • Pressurized water distribution systems.
  • Water chemistry and treatment.
  • Hot and cold water distribution.
  • Valves and fixtures.
  • Natural gas distribution.
  • Building drainage systems.
  • Storm water drainage.
  • Sanitary waste disposal.

This certificate is awarded to students who successfully complete four required courses.

Students may take X63.9500 and X63.9502 in the fall, and X63.9501 and X63.9503 in the spring.
