The NYU REIT Center is hosting the Second Annual REIT Breakfast Seminar on strategic transactions and restructurings for REITs and other real estate firms. Each session will be led by a distinguished speaker from the REIT or real estate industry and will provide students the opportunity to discuss important current issues in a small group setting with key thought leaders from the industry. Visiting speakers (who will be announced subsequently) will include senior members of the REIT, investment banking, private equity or investment communities, including CEOs of the firms being analyzed. Class size is limited in order to provide students an opportunity to interact with the guest speakers.

Any Master of Science student who has successfully COMPLETED the course "Real Estate Capital Markets" and has a 3.5 GPA is eligible to apply. Although the seminar is not-for-credit, students will be expected to be fully committed to this seminar which will be intellectually rigorous with assigned readings etc.; we expect students to attend all four breakfasts. Enrollment capacity is limited and students must apply and be accepted to participate.
