David Hollander Dave Hollander received a B.A. in Philosophy from Brandeis University and a J.D. from Quinnipiac University School of Law. He is a well-known author and national columnist on sports and social issues and has a distinguished career in sports entertainment and live event production. Hollander is visiting clinical assistant professor at the NYU-SCPS Preston Robert Tisch Center for Hospitality, Tourism, and Sports Management where he teaches Consumer Behavior, Marketing of Sports and Events, Introduction to Sports Management, Planning and Development of Major Sporting Events, and Public Relations.

Hollander is the author of a critically acclaimed book 52 Weeks: Interviews with the Champions! and co-author of the new nationally celebrated 9/11 memoir Reluctant Hero: A 9/11 Survivor Speaks Out About That Unthinkable Day, What He’s Learned, How He’s Struggled and What No One Should Ever Forget. He is currently working on a 1970s-themed sports history book due out in 2013. His commentary on topical sports issues is frequently featured in The Huffington Post. Hollander is a popular speaker at universities and conferences, with corporate and community groups, and has made numerous broadcast media appearances, including on CNN, FOX, WFAN Radio, and SIRIUS Satellite Radio.
