The Graduate Certificate in Hospitality Industry Studies addresses the increasing complexity of the business of hotels, including the global expansion of hotel brands and ownership structures.
Certificate students establish a knowledge base and enhance their professional qualifications in the area of hotel business. Course material focuses on the core knowledge necessary to work in the hotel industry, including marketing, finance, law, operations, and statistics.
This 15-credit program is comprised of five required courses. The program can be completed in less than two semesters when taken full-time and in three to four semesters part-time. Courses are offered primarily in the evenings and on weekends. Course options may vary from semester to semester and are subject to change.
