I chose NYU-SCPS for graduate school because of the tremendous opportunities it offered. Looking back, it has delivered on every one of my expectations. Aside from the sheer variety of classes, NYU enabled me specifically to identify the steps I needed to take in order to achieve my career goals. It helped to sharpen my analytical and communication skills in both my professional and personal life. Also, its location in the heart of New York City, a world capital, and its affiliation with numerous companies based here was invaluable. In this respect, I don’t think other schools can compete with the caliber and background of the faculty or the networking offered at NYU.

Through school events, I met leading executives such as Jonathan Tisch from Loews Hotels; Michael J. Carroll from the Wall Street Journal; and Cathryn Cronin Cranston, from the Harvard Business Review. My professors demanded and challenged me to do my very best work and my fellow students were smart, dynamic, and well educated, which made for engaging class discussions.

I am currently the new president of the Hospitality and Tourism Graduate Student Society.
