The NYU-SCPS Preston Robert Tisch Center for Hospitality, Tourism, and Sports Management and NYU Langone Medical Center’s Department of Orthopaedic Surgery and Musculoskeletal Rehabilitation Network hosted a panel discussion about head injuries in sports on November 16, 2011. Moderated by Arthur Miller, NYU University Professor and NYU-SCPS director of public dialogues, the panel featured industry, academic, and clinical experts exploring the economic, ethical, and professional pressures placed on athletes and why this has become a critical social and health concern.
