Tisch Center Recruitment Opportunities

This past fall, the Tisch Center’s four student clubs—the Graduate Sports Business Society (GSBS), the Hospitality and Tourism Society–The Graduate Student Business Society (HTS), Hospitality Business Society (HBS), and the Sports Business Society (SBS)—partnered to produce the Fall Internship and Career Fair. The event drew more than 50 organizations seeking interns and employees.  Among the companies represented were: Adidas, Expedia, Le Parker Meridien, Leading Hotels of the World, Major League Baseball, Major League Soccer, the Sports Museum of America, the New York City Sports Commission, Restaurant Associates, Times Square Alliance, and Top of the Rock.

Other recruitment opportunities throughout the 2007-2008 academic year included individual company visits by Marriott International, Starwood Hotels & Resorts, and The Breakers.  Company representatives came to campus for a day or two, lectured in classes, interviewed students for management trainee programs and internships, and hosted information sessions.

This year, Tisch Center graduates Anelia McDermott and Birjees Rehman were accepted to the Starwood Management Trainee program.
