GRADUATION AUDIT

Graduation audit is the final review and analysis of a student's academic record to ensure that all degree requirements have been met and the student is on track to graduate at the end of the semester. Typically, the assistant director, in collaboration with the program administrator, conducts this analysis and informs the student in an advisement session, as well as via e-mail, of their outstanding requirements necessary for graduation from the undergraduate program. Once these matters are discussed, both the student and the academic administrator sign the final audit checklist form, which serves as a documented indicator of the remaining curricular requirements the student must fulfill in order to graduate. Additionally, program administration works with Graduation Services to ensure that the student has fulfilled all degree requirements. Students are kept abreast of this process until they are officially listed as graduation candidates.
