The Tisch Center’s New Home
In the summer of 2011, the Tisch Center will have a splendid new campus home at 7 East 12th Street, part of the new NYU School of Continuing and Professional Studies building, in the heart of Greenwich Village. The 12-story building will house most of the School’s Washington Square area administrative and faculty offices, classrooms, multi-use student lounges, computer labs, and conference rooms — and will be a nexus of engagement for students, faculty, advisory board members, and Tisch Center friends.
The generosity of Tisch Center donors will allow for exclusive interview rooms for on-campus recruitment and boardroom-style meeting spaces for student clubs and organizations to host events, advisory board member lectures, and more. Students and faculty advisors will meet in comfortable, private offices, and classes will be held in brand-new classrooms equipped with state-of-the art technology.
