New Student Orientation and Welcome Week at NYU
The Preston Robert Tisch Center welcomes incoming freshmen and transfer students each fall with a multiday, on-campus orientation, as part of NYU’s Welcome Week activities. As new undergraduates acclimate to living and learning in New York City and at NYU, they — along with their parents — meet peers, current students, faculty advisors, alumni, and the dean. Administrators and faculty facilitate workshops to review academic expectations, host informal dialogues on summer readings and Q&A sessions, and introduce leading industry figures.
