Continuing Education: Accounting, Taxation, and Legal Programs

Gain a comprehensive introduction to not-for-profit (NFP) accounting, as well as to governmental reporting requirements applicable to 501(c)(3) and other NFP entities. Learn how NFPs are formed and the characteristics, terminology, structure, and regulatory reporting unique to NFP organizations. Examine the role of the accounting department, accounting staff duties, and the structure of the NFP chart of accounts. Receive an introduction to NFP financial statements and their major components.
