But fine and rare wine collections also present opportunities for investment, and wine appraisals are sometimes necessary for divorce settlements, estate planning, donations, and insurance purposes. Explore the factors that determine the value of a wine or wine collection for buyers and investors. Topics covered include global wine trends and markets, wine authentication, extraordinary assumptions and hypothetical conditions, and creating inventories.
