Advanced Construction Documents: From Drawings to the Built Form

Continuing Education: Architecture, Engineering, and Construction

For those who already have a basic knowledge of construction drawings and plans, this course explores plan reading in greater detail, the coordination of trades, and general constructibility issues, such as the drawn detail versus the built form. Building systems--including the foundation, framing, curtain wall, mechanical and electrical systems, and the relationship between material designations and the coordination of individual building components--are also covered in depth.

Prerequisite: Fundamentals of Construction Documents/COES1-CE9358.
