Intensive Writing Workshop

This course introduces the rigors of academic reading and writing by helping students develop and sharpen their skills through practice and reflection. Students work closely with instructors and in-class tutors to engage in prewriting, drafting, conferring, revising, and editing activities. Students read and analyze various texts to help them generate ideas, focus their thoughts, and familiarize themselves with Standard English practices.
