Continuing Education: Finance

An introduction to the securities markets provides the foundation upon which the study of finance must be built. Learn the difference between stocks, bonds, commodities, futures, derivatives, options, and currencies. Topics include the history of capital markets and how they function; risk/return tradeoff; fundamental versus technical analysis; and contemporary investor attitudes, problems, and pitfalls. This course also lays the groundwork for Fundamentals of Portfolio Management, the introductory course to portfolio management.
