Analyze the financial services that investment banks provide to corporations and governments. This introductory course and overview of the industry is recommended for corporate, bank, and insurance personnel. Topics include raising capital through the issuance of equity and debt securities; initial public offerings and secondary issues; private placements; venture capital; privatizations; and mergers and acquisitions, including the related activities of divestitures, spin-offs, and workouts.
