This advanced, hands-on seminar in venture capital is tailored to M.B.A.s and M.B.A. students, attorneys, accountants, finance managers, and investment bankers seeking specific knowledge about the venture capital industry. Topics include raising venture capital funds; structuring venture capital partnerships; and key issues in evaluating venture stage companies, including management analysis, exit alternatives, trade sales, intellectual property, and patent issues. Venture capitalists and chief executive officers present real-world case studies and give students the opportunity to simulate strategic decision making.
