Discover the various ways in which the economies of the world are coming together, and explore both the forces driving globalization and the resistance to these forces. Examine the mechanisms of globalization and how it affects people--in the context of differing social and economic realities. Study the difficulties inherent in advancing negotiations to achieve trade agreements ratified by the majority of nations, and assess proposals put forward by several economists.
