Explore the basics of an international trade transaction and get a practical introduction to the fundamentals of import-export procedures. The essential elements of international trade contracts, shipping terms, various transportation modes, U.S. Customs procedures, global sourcing, import/export financing, and cross-cultural issues are addressed. This course covers information that is especially valuable for students who wish to learn the transaction mechanics of importing and exporting.
