Acquire a foundation in current economic thought and build competency in economic principles. Topics include inflation, unemployment, and economic growth; fiscal and monetary policy; aggregate supply and demand; the Federal Reserve System; Keynesian economics; monetarism; measuring the macroeconomy; the GNP; and the interrelationship between key macro variables.
