Continuing Education: Foreign Languages, Translation, and Interpreting

Read and discuss a different work each semester, ranging from the timeless epics of Homer to the New Testament. In addition to a strong focus on grammar and syntax, this course includes a fascinating exploration of the historical background and literary interpretation of the selected readings. Whenever possible, commentaries are chosen based on their capacity to help students build grammar and vocabulary. This course is appropriate for anyone with a basic knowledge of ancient Greek.
