Sessions cover the philosophy and management objectives of the human resource department; job design; recruitment techniques; rules and discipline implementation; and employee orientation, training, development, appraisal, compensation, and benefits. Employee rights, protection, and legal representation, law and the role of government in human resources, and the use of computerized personnel data systems are also discussed.
