Continuing Education:
Management and Information Technology
The Model View Controller (MVC) framework has become a popular platform for building database-driven Web applications. By utilizing the ADO.NET Entity framework as an Object-Relational Mapping (ORM) framework with an SQL Server, it eliminates the mismatch between databases and application code. Examine how to use SQL Server and Entity Framework in the development of MVC applications and learn how to write unit tests in order to "bulletproof" future changes. Unit Testing is now considered an essential component of Web application development and makes it much easier to modify or add to a code base without introducing defects.
Prerequisite: Experience with object-oriented programming or proficiency with Web application development and client-server technology and Building ASP.NET Web Applications/INFO1-CE9095.
