Microsoft's multi-paradigm programming language, C#, allows programmers to rapidly build Web-based and platform-independent applications for the Microsoft .NET platform. C# encompasses imperative, declarative, functional, generic, object oriented and component oriented programming disciplines. Through a mixture of presentation and hands-on labs, this course starts with the fundamentals, covers best practices for object-oriented programming in C#, and covers some intermediate and advanced features including generics, collections, interfaces, delegates, lambda expressions and LINQ.

Prerequisite: Experience with loops, if statements, and functions as implemented in languages such as C, Java, JavaScript, PERL, PHP, and Ruby.
