SPRING 2012
Continuing Education: Management and Information Technology

Such widely used applications as Google Maps, Google Suggest, and Gmail are built using AJAX (Asynchronous JavaScript and XML). Learn the concepts necessary to build AJAX applications, and discover how AJAX can help developers create dynamic Web application experiences, eliminating deployment problems and lackluster user experiences. Using AJAX, developers facilitate asynchronous requests to the Web server while the client interacts with a webpage.

Prerequisites: Solid understanding of client server technology and familiarity with JavaScript and CSS; experience building database-driven applications is helpful.
