Adobe FLEX 4.0: Building Rich Internet Applications

INFO1-CE9765 / $595
SPRING 2012
Continuing Education: Management and Information Technology

Web users demand as rich an experience with browser-based (thin-client) applications as with native (thick-client) applications. Rich Internet Applications (RIA) make it possible for developers to meet these demands, throwing off the traditional limitations of HTML/HTTP. In this hands-on course, learn to choose from the available tools and platforms (including AJAX and Adobe Flash Builder/Flex/Flash) and gain an understanding of building leading-edge, platform-independent, browser-based Rich Internet Applications.

Prerequisite: Understanding of client server technology, HTML, and a Web-related language such as JavaScript or PHP; experience building database-driven applications is helpful.
