Continuing Education: Foreign Languages, Translation, and Interpreting

If you have a solid knowledge of the language basics (essential vocabulary, verb forms, and basic tenses), or if you have completed level II and wish to move faster this is the course for you. Focus on expanding your vocabulary, learning more complex grammatical structures, and having simple conversations. This is a fast-paced course that packs the material for two levels in the time for one. Be prepared to devote some time to homework. The class is conducted in Italian. The textbook employed in this class is Oggi in Italia (NYU Edition, Houghton Mifflin, 2007).

Counts as one course toward the certificate.
