Continuing Education: Philanthropy and Fundraising

This course is designed for individuals who want to gain experience in hands-on corporate and foundation fundraising, leading development teams, and experiencing what it's like to be a fundraising consultant. Participants work in teams with small charities to develop corporate and foundation solicitation programs by applying information conveyed in class. Each session is comprised of a lecture and discussion, and time for working with team members and your charity. In the final class, a panel of grantmakers and grantmaking advisors review each team's output.
