This advanced course will help students use their research, creative and writing skills to help an organization promote its products or services and express its organizational identity, mission and values, with the long - term goal of building reputation and achieving growth objectives. Guest speakers will demonstrate how they approached strategic writing assignments that helped achieve key organizational objectives. Writing assignments will include work on institutional advertising, annual reports, CEO speeches, Op - Eds, position papers, `talking points,? and other tools for promoting strategic communications objectives and breaking through the information clutter. Oral communications and presentation skills will also be covered in that good writing is often at their core.
To register for this course you must be an admitted student in an NYU credit or degree program or have special student status.
