With the continued growth in mobile technologies, project managers are faced with the challenge of working with cross-functional teams to implement business requirements that drive the development of mobile applications. In this advanced class, students work within the context of a mobile application development project. Students are introduced to the foundations of mobile app development within the context of the iPad/iPhone and Android platforms followed by an examination of the project management approaches suitable for mobile app development. The PMI® project management knowledge areas and process group are applied to the mobile app development lifecycle.
Prerequisite: Basic Project Management/PROJ1-CE8600 or equivalent experience.
