This intensive workshop is designed for magazine professionals who want to develop these editorial skills to attract readers and increase sales. Freelancers benefit from the workshop by learning to craft enticing display copy to help pitch their stories. Through examples and practical hands-on exercises, students learn copy techniques that work--and avoid those that don't--for magazine categories including fashion and beauty, entertainment, news, and lifestyle.
Students must have fluency in English and knowledge of the editorial role in magazine publishing.
