Beginning with a survey of opportunities in writing for newspapers, magazines, and newsletters, find out how to identify areas of need, solicit business, capitalize on contacts and expertise acquired in current and past jobs, and develop successful products. Get instruction in time management, setting prices, and developing guidelines to decide if and when to turn your part-time business into a full-time occupation. Case studies of successful businesses are cited.
