Career, Education, and Life Planning
The nonprofit sector makes up a large segment of the labor force and provides virtually the same earnings potential and advancement opportunities as the corporate and governmental sectors. However, many people are not sure how their finance, communications, research, or people skills can transfer to this increasingly popular market. This workshop explores the world of nonprofit, examines where the jobs are and how to get one, and covers the benefits of working in the nonprofit sector. Participants also learn useful strategies for networking, targeting, and researching nonprofit employers.
