China, Russia, and India--burgeoning centers of industry--are ripe with opportunity for those who understand the business culture, deal-making environment, and protocol of these unique markets. This intensive is designed to provide attendees with the tools to establish successful operations in these countries, each of which provides its own set of challenges. We cover the legal environment, trends, and the impact of the WTO; product distribution, marketing, and product sourcing; direct investment; currency exposure, intellectual property rights, and other areas of risk; managerial methods appropriate for the region; and an introduction to the languages used for business in the countries discussed.
