Topics include financial, accounting, and leasing implications; tenant issues in occupied buildings undergoing green improvements; emerging best practices for greening existing building portfolios; the mortgage holder's position regarding green improvement project financing; the impacts of green improvements on NOI and investment yield; the relationship between the EPA's Energy Star program and the U.S. Green Building Council's LEED program; and the new LEED-EB operations and maintenence standard for certifying existing buildings as officially green.
