Acquire an overview of all phases of real estate development. Property and project types covered include commercial office, multifamily, mixed-use, redevelopment and urban infill. Topics include market studies; project site selection; feasibility analysis; sources of capital and various financing structures; the pro forma; legal concepts; programming and design; land use review; governmental agencies; assemblages; project management; and marketing, leasing, and tenant placement. Case studies are used throughout the seminar.
