This one-day seminar provides an in-depth perspective on the resolution of non-performing commercial real estate loans. Workouts are analyzed from both a portfolio and securitized lending perspective, including the role of special servicers and B-piece holders. The session includes detailed substantive presentations, expert panel discussions, and participation in workout "cases" to analyze lender/borrower negotiation strategy. Substantive areas include judicial and UCC foreclosure process, bankruptcy, note sales, and REO.
