This seminar provides a detailed review of the fire protection sections of the New York City Building Code and, in particular, Local Laws #5/73 (fire safety, maintenance); #16/84 (fire safety, emergency lighting); #41/78 (fire safety in places of public assembly); #62/81 (smoke alarm systems); and the recently adopted #11/19 (residential sprinklers). Report forms, compliance, enforcement, fire department rules and regulations, and various building laws (multidwelling units) are also discussed.
AIA/HSW-6 hours. PDH-6 hours.
